SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The exercise has been planned in following phases:
Phase I –Planning For smooth conduct of events during
Ex- AMAN-07, coordination meeting were held as under:
a. Initial Planning Conference (IPC). IPC was held at
Fleet Headquarters, Karachi from 27-28 Oct 06. Participants were
apprised with the exercise aim & its objectives and initial details of
the activities planned.
b. Main Planning Conference(MPC).
(1) MPC was held in Fleet Headquarters, Karachi on
10 & 11 Jan 07. Reps from Bangladesh, China,
France, Turkey, UAE, UK and USA attended the meeting.
(2) Schedule of events, details of participating units
& observers and administrative issues were discussed
during the meeting. Proceedings of the meeting are
covered in the minutes of the meeting provided to the participants.
c. Final Planning Conference (FPC).
(1) FPC was held at Pakistan Navy Tactical School (PNTS), Karachi on 7 & 8 Feb 07. The meeting was attended by reps from Bangladesh, China, France, Malaysia, Turkey, UAE, UK and USA. Photo
(2) Schedule of events and issues pertaining to administrative nature were finalized during the meeting. Minutes of the meeting covering details had been provided to the respective country reps.
Phase II- In Port Activities. During Phase II (Harbour Phase I) following activities are scheduled:

Phase IV- MIO at Sea. Phase IV had been planned as the last phase of sea activities. Exercise settings were issued focusing on MIO. MIO at Sea Phase was conducted from 10 to 11 Mar 07. On completion ships returned to port.
