FACILITIES
a. Lecture Hall/Auditorium. The College has an adequately equipped lecture hall/auditorium. It is generally used by the guest speakers for lectures and by course members for presentations/seminars. Normally, Power Point and Microsoft Windows are used for presentations.
b. Library. The College library has approximately ten thousand books on subjects related to the curriculum of the Staff Course. The College also subscribes to over 70 international and national periodicals, journals, magazines and newspapers. Information on specific subjects is also available to support the research work.
c. Internet. Internet facility has been provided on 10 computers, in the library as well as in the Computer Lab.
d. Typing. Most of the schemes are submitted handwritten. Some schemes like Research Paper, Course Paper and Service Paper are required to be submitted in typed form. For this purpose, adequate typing facilities are available at the College.
e. Photocopying. Adequate photocopying and duplicating facilities are available.
f. Stationery. Some of the stationery items required during the course are issued by the College. Additional requirements are to be met by the officers themselves.
g. Audio Visual Aids. VCR, TV set, Multimedia, 35mm slide and Colour Magnabite, overhead projectors are available at the College.
h. Coffee Room. Sufficient facilities for serving light refreshments (snacks, tea, coffee etc) during working hours are available in the coffee room of the College.
j. Medical. Medical and dental facilities are available at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore Cantt and other local hospitals. In addition, a medical officer visits the College for one hour, normally from 0800 to 0900 daily.
k. Telephone. Local telephone facilities are available in the College and at the Ward Room/residence. Long distance call facilities are available in the city.
l. Postal Arrangements. All incoming private mail for members is placed in their respective pigeon holes. For out-mail, a letter box is placed outside the Ship's Office, from which mail is cleared daily at 0830 except holidays. Registered letters for despatch may be handed over to the Training Chief.
m. Transport. Transport is provided for all official duties including official functions and local visits organized by the College. Due to limited facilities, officers are not encouraged to use transport on payment. Pick and drop service from the residence to the college is also provided.
