Baluchistan is a land bestowed by Allah Almighty with immense bounties. These blessings spread from the green pastures and rugged mountains to the unknown volume of minerals below the surface and extend into the vastness of Arabian Ocean that touches its shores. The inhabitants of this mystically beautiful land are known for their chivalry, loyalty, traditions and extreme hard work. No wonder that this land has been frequented by travelers, tradesmen and adventurers throughout the recorded history, who have nothing but praise for this land and its people.

The significance of Baluchistan needs no emphasis. Pakistan Navy (PN), having a natural affiliation and affection for this land and the neighboring seas has always acknowledged the importance of Baluchistan and has remained engaged in bringing prosperity and progress to this part of the motherland. Numerous goodwill projects at Gwadar, Pasni, Jiwani, Turbat and Ormara are the manifestation of PN’s commitment to the people of Baluchistan in general and the coastal belt in particular.

PN recognizes the significance of education for the empowerment of the people of Baluchistan and Pakistan. It firmly believes in investing on future generations to prepare responsible citizens, educated professionals and dynamic leaders. Bringing quality education to the less privileged areas has thus remained a cardinal point of PN’s strategy and a self-assigned duty as its contribution towards nation building. Today, a large number of schools and Colleges are being operated – or supported – by PN across the country. Cadet College Ormara is another humble step in the same direction.

It was a conscious decision to select Ormara for this premier institute. The Cadet College shall not only encompass the local and provincial population but shall introduce this lesser known area to other parts of the country. With 50% seats reserved for Baluchistan and 50% from rest of the country, the institute shall provide a harmonious environment to prepare the talented youth to participate in the progress of the motherland. The Cadet College shall not only provide quality education but shall also hone the natural aptitudes and qualities of its students. It shall become the launch pad for the young minds to lean into the future with self-confidence and resolve. In short, Cadet College Ormara shall have the wherewithal to prepare the next generations in taking on the future challenges and contribute in all facets of national progress.
