Small Tankers/ Utility Ships PNS RASADGAR and MADADGAR are the recently built second generation of indigenous coastal tankers. The ships are identical in design and capability, brief description of which is as follows. • PNS MADADGAR PNS MADADGAR, a Small Tanker Cum Utility Ships (STUS) was commissioned in Pakistan Navy on 19 July 2011. The STUS are the first ships of their class and have been indigenously constructed in Pakistan by Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works. This logistics vessel is designed for multipurpose roles and operations at high seas. She is state of the art craft and is designed and equipped for multi facet roles with robust and reliable modern machinery and equipment. Her induction in PN Fleet has increased the logistic redundancy to Pakistan Navy Fleet and has provided PN with greater flexibility and endurance to conduct a wide range of support operations to PN fleet and coastal stations. • PNS RASADGAR PNS RASADGAR is a Small Tanker cum Utility Ship (STUS) indigenously built at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works. PNS RASADGAR was commissioned on 19 July 2011. This logistics vessel is designed for multipurpose roles and operations at high seas. The vessel is like her sister ship, characterized by excellent maneuverability and spacious layout. PNS RASADGAR is fitted with state of the art machinery and equipment.
